How about making it possible to die next time?
It was fun and hard as hell sometimes, but what got me was that it was impossible to die. I mean you'd think that if you made a particular wrong decision (like being stupid enough to open the door again after the monster came in) you'd be killed in some way and might have to restart from the point where you made the mistake (as stupid as it may be).
...
Go kill yourself! lol j/k
Youve actually gotten me to try to get off my ass and try to submit something myself. I just wish it was that easy in real life :P
Oh btw I accidently exitted the whole game because I clicked the wrong X button XD
I thought it was very fun.
I wouldve given sound a 15 if I could XD
I loved how it was hard to screw up but not every combination sounded great. If we could make the music a bit longer it would be kickass. lol you know I would be listening to it sometimes :P
As to the below review.
You can sample the music before you play it by holding...I think C and clicking it. Its all in the help menu.
Dude...DAMN
Yay Silent Hill comes to the net.
I am not compeltely sure but the screeching sound I heard right before I died reminded me of the two headed babies off of Silent Hill 4...
Dont mean to sound like an ass but...
The way the circle and the paddle is made keeps you from aiming correctly sometimes. I suggest a semicircle paddle, which would be an arc, and make it so that if it hits one of the sides that it bounces away like it would in real life. It would make for a MUCH better aiming system. Just picture a blue hotdog and you got your paddle. The music was good at first but it just gets on your nerves after awhile. The idea isnt bad at all. Try putting some space backgrounds in the circle or something and give the area outside the circle a scoreboard look or something. Well uh thats all the contructive criticism I have for today...so uh yeah.
You don't sound like an ass at all. :-) Yeah, I thought about making the paddle an arc, actually. The only thing that stopped me was my weak knowledge of actionscript. But I like the idea, so I'll see what I can do about it.
Backgrounds: Already on it. :-) Scoreboard look: Good idea. Music: I thought of using a new song for each level, but I was just too lazy to go search for these songs.
Thank you very much for a good review!
Fun game
I loved the songs in it. I could only disdinguish one which one the jungle song on the first fight. I had a slightly hard time dodging the toad and Hitler was hard...but uh I kicked his ass. THe tree was the only one where you could put reflexes to use and dodge missiles...well it didnt take alot of MY reflexes :P The ending was pretty good. I thought i was gonna have to fight a secret boss or something when i saw the chopper comming. Great game all in all. Perhaps next time you can have like an evil fox guy that can grab weapons too!
And to king_david you know just because someone doesnt like to look at a bunch of old NG cartoons and games and go through huge search engines, and likes to just play new stuff like once a day doesnt mean they are a nerd dude. I mean you seem to know about what games deserve the awards and all and you seem to be all in on this NG stuff.
Ok it was fun blowing the hell out of Bin Lardass
XD but it got to the point to where you didnt even have to shoot. At around level 26 they just kept hitting an invsisible barrier. What i think you did was made the ramage area already inside the grenade the bazooka fires and then srpead out after it hits...what you should do is make the damage area appear AFTER the grenade hits. That way there wont be any invisible wall.
What the hell am I supposed to put in this box? w00t?
